Um guindaste hidráulico, transportado de Caxias do Sul (RS) para Barcarena (PA), foi apreendido por fiscais da Secretaria de Estado da Fazenda (Sefa) durante uma operação realizada na quinta-feira (13) no posto fiscal do KM-09, às margens da BR-230 (Rodovia Transamazônica), em Marabá, no sudeste do Pará. O equipamento, avaliado em R$ 325 mil, foi retido devido à falta de recolhimento do Imposto sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços (ICMS) diferencial de alíquota (Difal), conforme exigido pela legislação tributária.
A ação foi conduzida por fiscais da Coordenação de Controle de Mercadorias em Trânsito da Sefa, unidade de Carajás. De acordo com Cicinato Oliveira, coordenador da unidade fazendária, a equipe identificou, durante a verificação da documentação fiscal, que o tributo não havia sido recolhido antecipadamente, como determina a lei.
Como resultado, foi emitido um Termo de Apreensão e Depósito (TAD) no valor de R$ 16.653,00, referente ao ICMS devido e à multa aplicada. O guindaste permanece sob custódia até que a situação fiscal seja regularizada.
